New Haven: Yale, 2010. 1st. Hardcover. First Yale editions. Volumes XXI - XXIII of the Yale Edition of the Works of Samuel Johnson. Edited by Middendorf. Bound in blue cloth with spines stamped in gilt. All volumes and dust jackets look great. However, volume three has light signs of water damage to bottom 1/3 inch of text block at outside corner, and endpapers of all volumes have light signs of water damage at bottom, not affecting text blocks, as do back covers of dust jackets. Slight bump to top outside corners of all volumes. Nevertheless, these books are are gorgeous and present as near fine. 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. Very Good / Very Good. Item #9033395
