After more than fifteen years In the North Loop we have relocated our open shop to 933 Marquette in downtown Minneapolis, blocks from the Convention Center and Orchestra Hall.

Over the years our inventory has grown to more than 120,000 volumes of individually selected fine books in many fields and more than 30,000 classical and jazz vinyl records. We have added a gallery for our expansive selection of antiquarian printed maps and prints. Our entire shop is at street level. 

James & Mary Laurie Booksellers was founded in 1969. We have been members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America since 1982. We welcome your visit to our shop and since only a fraction of our inventory is available on our website we encourage you to contact us via phone or email and we will check the shelves for you. Our hours are noon-6 Monday through Saturday, Sunday noon-3 and by appointment.
