Illustration by the artist Jess, who was also Duncan's life partner. Text by Duncan. Originally issued as part of "San Francisco Arts Festival: A Poetry Folio 1963," which included eight broadsides in collaboration between poets and illustrators. Printed in illustrated black on heavy cream paper. The dazzling illustrated image is a view out of a paned window, with text written into panes, surrounded by landscape, foliage, beaded precipitation, and a picket fence along the bottom. Gorgeous. Wide margins. A single 1/8-inch infinitesimal mark to very outside edge of paper, almost invisible. 12 3/4 x 17 1/2 inches. Item #9032616
