Catchwords. Text in Dutch. The first item is the fifth edition of the order of Lent and Easter services approved by the Dutch Reformed Church. It was first issued in 1738 and consists of forty-two sections containing lessons, psalms, and passages of Scripture. The final pages contain a list of clergymen who apparently were founders of this liturgy. The second work contained in this volume consists of 150 Psalms with musical notation. Twelve additional Psalms for special events are also included. These are followed by the Catechism, a liturgy of the Reformed Church and procedures for special occasions such as baptism, death, installation of deacons, etc. Chipping at the head and heal otherwise a very nice copy.
