London: 1818. Original engraving drawn and executed by William Hooker. Image measures 27 x 19 cm, leaf is 33 x 25 cm. One tiny (1 mm) grey spot, other wise clean and bright and in fine condition. Illustration is from Hooker's own POMONA LONDINENSIS published privately in London in 1818 with 49 stunning coloured engravings. Considered to be the finest fruit illustrations ever published, they are works of art in their own right. Item #25271
